"I am El Nino. Yo soy El Nino. For those of you who don't habla espanol, El Nino is Spanish for: The Nino."
I hope you all have seen this clip....if not, go here to watch. Chris Farley was hilarious!
Anyways, while on my 4 mile run last night, I was amazed on how unseasonably WARM it was. Don't go and grab your bikinis and shades now, it's still cold, but it was about 15 degrees warmer than I expected. Although it was 9 pm, windy and raining, it was still a warm 54 degrees! I mean, there were a few gusts out there that felt easily into the 60's! I felt like I was running through a tropical breeze!! I kept laughing to myself because all I could think about was Chris Farley...
Not sure if this is an El Niño or La Niña year (I have actually seen reports that it could be either. I believe El Niño makes the winter's warmer, but El Nina makes it warmer and wetter. So far we have seen both this year!!) but I love that it is not absolutely FREEZING when I am running. I don't mind running in the rain if it is above 50! Ill just have to remember to bring my fleece jacket to keep me warm on the drive home :(
Hopefully it will be that warm again tonight on my run!
